5 Lessons from the Campaign Trail: My Experience as a First-Time Manager for a House Representative

Joining Victoria's campaign was a no-brainer for me – with so much at stake in politics right now, I knew I had to do my part to make a difference. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to be a part of something as amazing as empowering women and fighting for a better future?

I'm so glad I took the leap and joined Victoria's team, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. But it wasn't all smooth sailing – as a first-time campaign manager, I had a lot to learn. But that's the beauty of it – I embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow and improve. And I came away from the experience with some valuable lessons that I'll carry with me forever.

So, what did I learn?

  1. It's important to stay calm and focused, especially when things get hectic. Being strategic and thoughtful in your actions can help you make better decisions and achieve better results.

  2. A growth mindset is key to success – embrace new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.

  3. If they can do it, you can do it. Politics is for everyone – don't let fear or exclusivity hold you back from making a difference.

  4. Relationships are everything. Building a solid network and cultivating strong relationships are vital to success.

  5. Do it. It's always worth it to take the leap and try something new – you never know what amazing things you'll achieve.

I am grateful for the amazing experience that has shown me what's possible when we come together to move our communities, cities, and states forward. So if you're feeling inspired to make a difference, don't let fear or hesitation hold you back. Take the leap and see where it leads you – you never know what amazing things you'll accomplish! Little by little, we can make a difference, and I can't wait to see what we can achieve together.
